Shopping

2 commentaires:

  1. The text about The Shop gives useful vocabulary and expressions. For example, it tells you that you buy biscuits in packets, yoghurts in pots, eggs in boxes....
It tells you that you use a trolley or a basket and that you have your money in a purse.

There is a list of the names of shops and other buildings (translated into French)and pictures of some of the shops and buildings.

There are many things you can do to create shopping games and activites. The game I found is too difficult for Primary children but you can find it on the OneStopEnglish site. I will look for easier games. Please tell me if you find a good one.

  2. ERRORS
There are a few mistakes in the French translations on some of these sheets. Unfortunately I don't know how to correct them without taking everything off and starting again! So here they are :
In 'The Shop', 6th line from the end, 'finis' should be 'fini'.
In 'Shops and other buildings', 'Poissonerie' should be 'Poissonnerie'.
Apologies and please help me to improve my blog by telling me of any other errors you spot!
